Random...

I had a bunch of pictures that I wanted to post so I thought I would just bunch them all into a random post instead of trying to break them out.  So here I go.....

Sleepover with the Palmer boys. Rocky didn't want covers...I covered him up before I went to bed and when I got up he wasn't covered up.

We got home late from the birthday party and Carter was so tired.  I was trying to set the bed up and looked up to see this.  Nate got a picture luckily! Canyon is such a good cousin to Carter.  He helps me so much when he comes over.

I LOVE this picture.  Kari came over and Isaac fell asleep so we put him in Carters crib, well she left to run some errands and Carter got tired so he went in the crib too.  Cute boys! (I have a feeling this won't be the last time they have a sleepover)

Ok...for all you Utahn's. ... in Oregon you are a Duck (Oregon) or a Beaver (Oregon State), just like in Utah you are a cougar or a Ute...well Carter is a DUCK.  I bought this sweat outfit when I was barely pregnant because girl or boy..it would work.  Well, by the time it got cold enough to wear he's too big! Oh well, he wore it once.

I tried to get him to pose but it didn't work.  He has his Oregon helmet, football, rubber duck and outfit.  I know...don't look at the pants, they are too short. 

He loves his helmet, all of the kids are confused though they want him to wear it.

Carter 8 Months Old

Carter is 8 months old already!  Time has flown by...he is such a fun baby.  We are so lucky to have him.

This was taken just a few days ago..They weren't his balloons they were his dad's, but he loved them! 

These were his 6 month pictures...when he was 7 months old...(I am just a little behind)

Here are some things that Carter is up to:

• He is crawling, pulling himself up and walking along furniture
• He loves blankets! He normally sleeps with one over his face
• He has his first tooth, finally! It took a while to get here and he was very cranky but we survived!
• He is eating yogurt, carrots, sweet potatoes, apple sauce, crackers, peas, peaches, and pears. 
• He says Mama...but I am not sure that he knows he is saying it.
• He loves cords, stairs, DVD's...basically anything he shouldn't be playing with
• He does not like his car seat...all of a sudden he started crying every time he gets in it and tries to pull the straps off his chest.
• He does not like getting his pajamas on.  We have a small battle every night. 
• He loves to take a bath and could play in the water for hours if I'd let him
• He has just recently become very vocal.  This is what we got to listen to at dinner tonight

Baby Food

When it was time for Carter to start eating solids I thought I'd try making my own.  My friend Jen did this and at first I thought she was crazy, but then once I realized that it wasn't that hard I thought I would give it a try.  Turns out it is pretty easy and I really enjoy it.  So far, I have done peas, carrots, sweet potatoes, avocados, and apple sauce.  I also have canned peaches and pears from last year that he is eating.  I thought I better document this in case it doesn't happen with the next one...

We went to the Zoo on Friday with Amy and the girls.  I had the day off and it wasn't supposed to get really hot so we thought it would be a good day to go.
