6 Months Old

Carter is growing up so fast!  He loves his bouncer and will just jump and squeal for hours...it seems like.  He is eating peaches, pears, bananas, sweet potatoes and avocados.  So far his favorite are the peaches.

He is starting to recognize people and their voices.  He loves his dad and gets so excited to see him.  He also really likes all of his cousins.

He never holds still, he is constantly kicking and now he has started this new thing that he will hold his bottle with one hand, while the other hand is moving back and forth..hitting me in the face every time.  He weighs 17 pounds 14 ounces and is 28.8 inches long.  He is in the 60th percentile for weight, and 99th for height.

We fall in love with this little boy over and over again every day!  He has brought us such joy to our lives, I have no idea what we EVER did without him!

Carter turned 6 months old on August 1st so we decided to celebrate with his first hair cut.  We were going to try and wait until her turned 1 but his hair was getting out of control.  He had a bad bald spot and wings which created the comb over look, so we gave up and decided to do it.  I was sad, but made it through.
Kari thought Isaac needed to be "trimmed" up some so we did it together.
