September

2nd Annual Palmer/Brown/Smith Labor Day Trip
Carter and I headed to Flaming Gorge over labor day to spend some time with the Palmers and Smiths.  I had a long weekend and Nate had to work so I figured I might as well get away for the weekend.  I took Canyon with me and we had a great time.

On our way...Goofy Kids

Stopped to take a picture of Carter with the Carter, WY sign

Pizza Hut

This was Carters routine every night, he wanted to be one of the boys so he'd go hang out with Rick and Craig before bed.

Peacefully sleeping

State Fair
We took Carter to the Utah State Fair.  He had a great time...our first stop was the horses and we could've just started and stopped there.  We walked around some and looked at the animals, got a few snacks, and stopped at the horses again on the way out.

Circus

We also took the kids to the circus.  We tried to get there early enough to view the animals before the show started and we made it...but didn't have much time.  Carter did pretty well but only liked it when the animals were out.  He did enjoy the food though, of course.

Carter had had enough by this point...He was more than ready to be out of his wet, sticky clothes and get home!

Crater Lake

We planned a trip with our friends the Woods' and decided to go to Crater Lake in Oregon.  We flew into Eugene and they picked us up and we drove to our destination.   Carter was really good on the flight but then we had to drive almost 3 hours, plus grocery shop so things got pretty hectic.  There were 4 adults,3 car seats, luggage and groceries crammed into a mini van.  I don't know who was more excited to finally get there, the kids or the moms!  Oh, and since we flew into Eugene we had to drive by Autzen stadium and make a stop at the DUCK store.  (an expensive stop)
We stayed in some cabins at Union Creek resort...we didn't really know what we were getting into, the cabins were about 100+ years old and in need of some major updating but they did the trick.  There was no cell service, internet or tv...anywhere.  The boys had to drive to the nearest town on Saturday night just to check the score of the football game.  We did have the iPad with some movies to keep the kids somewhat entertained.  Other than that we took a lot of walks and just hung out.  We had a great time spending time with our friends and not having any distractions.  The kids had a great time too.  Carter and Adisyn definitely butted heads some, but they aren't used to much competition!
I think this is one of the only pics I got inside of the cabin...

Look dad a Duck!

Cabin 22

We had lunch here every day.  SO good.

Crater lake is so hard to describe...other than Beautiful

The kids got a bath every night and we had to dig the dirt out of their noses...and every other crevice.

Let's play girls!

SMORES...need to say more?

This trip is where Carter discovered he wasn't locked in the pack n play...he escaped and I had to let him cry it out.

Taylor Swift

Kari, Morgan and I went to the the Taylor Swift concert.  It was a lot of fun, we had to wait forever for her to actually come out but once she did it was awesome.  I enjoyed just watching Maggie the most, she just took it all in.  Maggie really wanted a glow stick so I went out on a break to try and get her one.  The problem was they were selling everything at the tshirt stands and the lines were crazy.  I got her a t-shirt, but then we stood in line after for Morgan to get a tshirt and blanket for at least 45 minutes.  They had to have sold at least 5000 shirts.
